Key tasks include writing and maintaining SQL code, performing data migration, testing code, troubleshooting, and assisting with database optimization to ensure system efficiency. Some systems administration will be required as needed to be scoped within the parameters of what is needed to maintain the primary responsibilities. Responsibilities and Duties: This job description and performance standard document have been prepared as a guide to ensure better communication and understanding. Some examples include software applications using JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, VB.NET, and VBA. * System Administrative Tasks: Some administrative tasks will be required as needed to maintain system operations, stability and continuous improvement * Software Engineering: Write and test code for software applications to improve performance and functionality. Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries across relational databases. * Data Management: Perform data cleanup, migrations, and backups while assisting with database design. Continue to support database design, logic, and reporting tasks. * Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Monitor system performance and debug database/application issues. Also, collaborate code reviews, debugging, and process improvements. * Collaboration: Work with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
