## About the Role

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * AEM skilled trade to provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install, and make improvements to chemical processing equipment and machinery (includes pneumatics, hydraulics, controls (PLC's), and electrical components).

 * Ability to fabricate to exact tolerances using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment.
 * Some experience or expertise in piping, HVAC equipment and controls.
 * Ability to achieve a high level of expertise of chemical process equipment for effective troubleshooting and equipment repair.
 * Execute preventive maintenance program.
 * Calibrate, align, and make adjustments with test equipment and production equipment.
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools.

Qualifications include:

 * HS diploma.
 * Formal instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and/or AEM training and demonstrated experience.
 * Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans (bearings, sheaves), alignment.
 * Demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills.
 * Able to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings.
 * Able to read PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems.
 * Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
 * Excellent safety record - places safety and environment as top priority in all work.
 * Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out.
 * Understanding of electrical codes for hazardous environments (flammable liquids).
 * Good communication skills - daily communications with maintenance planner, technical staff and operations as needed.
 * Good team player - willing be flexible, work in other areas and with other trades as needed.

Minimum Education Level and experience:

 * 2-year schooling and/or 5 plus years of demonstrated experience., * Do you have experience with PLC's?
 * Do you have experience as a Manufacturing Mechanic?

We are looking for an Automated Equipment Mechanic / Product Support Technician to support the Advanced Materials and Chemicals Division in Rochester, NY. Pay $32 - $45/hour
