Join the UI Frameworks team and help shape the APIs and components used by millions of apps across iOS, iPadOS, and beyond. When you work here, you don't just ship features - you influence how developers around the world build and experience apps. We're a small, passionate team driving big impact across the entire Apple ecosystem., You will be managing a small team of talented UI Frameworks engineers working across UIKit and SwiftUI. You and your team will be responsible for key areas of both frameworks and their shared underpinnings. Your team will be developing new features and fixing regressions across multiple platforms and releases. You will be involved in feature work and team planning and will also be expected to do some hands-on development. You will work with Swift Platform Experience leadership and the program management team to ensure that your work makes it into the build with a high level of quality. You will keep an eye on system maintainability and performance. You will help create testing tools and procedures that contribute to this endeavor. You will also be a steward of the new APIs and SPIs that are developed. Finally, you will be expected to work closely with HI on new designs that are being developed from release to release. UIKit and SwiftUI together power nearly every interface on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and beyond - spanning touch handling, animation, text, layout, and the high-level components that apps across the Apple ecosystem depend on every day. As part of the UI Frameworks team, you'll collaborate closely with Human Interface designers and partner frameworks, and help deliver the next generation of UI technologies.
