This developer will play a crucial role in safeguarding our users by designing, implementing, maintaining, and hardening security features that protect our users and preserve privacy., As a developer in this position, you will: Build innovative networking and communications features that are secure by design Design and implement communication protocols leveraging encryption, including both messaging and realtime media Improve the security of especially sensitive codepaths (for example, zero-click parsing of untrusted data) Be responsible for static analysis of source code, fuzzing, testing strategies, and down-to-earth security bug fixing Work mostly in Swift and Objective-C, designing delightful APIs and implementing frameworks and daemons that make up the operating system Participate in code reviews with a focus on identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities At Apple, user privacy and security are paramount.
