Task-Specific Responsibilities * Analyze the solutions proposed in Tasks 1 and 2 and their ability to effectively close identified capability gaps for Space and Weapons systems. * Conduct analysis during Air Force development and implementation of the crypto solution, and provide data to the Government to verify the solution meets the needs identified in Tasks 1 and 2. * Evaluate the solution, implementation, and transition, and report any deviations from the implementation plan that would impact the warfighter. Solutions may range from ordering and installing off-the-shelf crypto devices, to major modification R&D efforts, to designing and building a new crypto device. Evaluate selected implementations against current and potential future vulnerabilities. The Government will actively participate in the development and implementation of data collection and evaluation methodologies, and all resulting data will be subject to Government review and independent verification to validate solution effectiveness. * Provide recommendations to CONAUTH and system users during the algorithm transition phase, and periodically assess and report on status to meet the algorithm transition deadline. Evaluate the effectiveness of the transition method and implementation. * Evaluate the selected algorithm-compliant HAD, manage and report on the replacement or transition of HAD hardware on the cryptonet ordering algorithm-compliant keying material, and support the cutover from the legacy ECU and keying material to the algorithm-compliant HAD and keying material. * Support HQ CCC Government personnel by collecting analysis of Space platforms (e.g., GPS-III, SBIRS, Tactically Responsive Space, CubeSat), conducting research and analysis on GOE or ground communications systems (e.g., FORGE, TBMS, TDC, BLOS), and munitions for all platforms supported by the DAF. * Analyze vulnerable crypto devices and algorithms, and research potential solutions to recommend a way ahead for submission to the Government. * Conduct TRANSEC requirement reviews, provide analysis and recommendations, communicate impacts of mandates, and prepare reports for HQ CCC. Provide guidance and expertise to support generation of Transmission Security Plans. ## Related Videos - [This Machine Ends Data Breaches](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/574-this-machine-ends-data-breaches) - [How to Navigate Professional Relationships in the Tech Industry](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1276-how-to-navigate-professional-relationships-in-the-tech-industry) - [One Pipeline, Three Regulator - SBOM Compliance for the Developer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100169-one-pipeline-three-regulator-sbom-compliance-for-the-developer) - [APItoolkit: Using Merkle Trees and LLMs to Detect the UnDetectable in Software Monitoring](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1639-apitoolkit-using-merkle-trees-and-llms-to-detect-the-undetectable-in-software-monitoring) - [Pragmatic Blockchain Design Patterns: Integrating Blockchain into Business Processes](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1579-pragmatic-blockchain-design-patterns-integrating-blockchain-into-business-processes) - [Security Pitfalls for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/726-security-pitfalls-for-software-engineers) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing) - [Everything a Developer Needs to Know About MCP with Neo4j](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/604-everything-a-developer-needs-to-know-about-mcp-with-neo4j) - [Events like RSAC Get You CISOs.
