## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience as a front-end or UI-focused engineer supporting large-scale, customer-facing platforms

 * Strong experience building modern web and mobile applications (React / React Native preferred)

 * Proven experience driving or contributing to front-end modernization efforts

 * Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and backend services

 * Familiarity with AWS-hosted environments and how front-end applications interact with cloud services

 * Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and responsive design

 * Solid SQL knowledge for working with data-driven UI experiences

 * A software engineering mindset that includes DevOps awareness:

 * Understanding CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

Awareness of how front-end applications behave in production environments * Interest in or openness to using AI-assisted development tools

## Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Web/Mobile Front End Engineer to join a mission-critical medical logistics platform team supporting web, mobile, and API-driven customer experiences. This role will play a key part in modernizing and scaling front-end UI systems for a growing customer base, with a strong emphasis on responsive web applications and mobile platforms running in AWS.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience modernizing front-end systems across multiple environments and can clearly articulate examples of evolving legacy UI applications into modern, scalable architectures. They understand how front-end systems perform in production and can apply those insights to deliver resilient, high-performing user experiences.

This role requires someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, driving work autonomously, influencing decision-making, and contributing across front-end feature delivery, UI platform capabilities, and customer-facing applications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 * Build, enhance, and maintain responsive, high-performance web and mobile applications using React Native

 * Collaborate closely with API and backend teams to integrate front-end systems with scalable services

 * Design and implement reusable UI components and front-end frameworks

 * Contribute hands-on development across web and mobile features
