## About the Role

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law

 * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
 * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline plus 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
 * Experience supporting systems engineering activities throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 * Knowledge of systems engineering principles, technical standards, and engineering methodologies.
 * Experience developing system security documentation and supporting accreditation or certification activities.
 * Experience developing, integrating, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting computing hardware or infrastructure systems.
 * Understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
 * Experience evaluating systems, networks, and information systems against government security requirements.
 * Ability to create and maintain technical engineering documentation., * Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring schematics, rack layouts, and parts lists.
 * Experience troubleshooting computing hardware in laboratory or customer environments.
 * Experience developing electrical schematics using Siemens Capital Logic Designer.
 * Experience supporting U.S. Navy or Department of Defense programs.
 * Experience working within Agile engineering teams.
 * Familiarity with secure infrastructure hardware integration and systems testing.

## Description

* Design, develop, integrate, and support infrastructure hardware solutions for U.S. Navy surface ship platforms.
 * Identify, analyze, and resolve system design deficiencies to improve performance, reliability, and security.
 * Develop and maintain system security documentation supporting certification and accreditation activities.
 * Support system accreditation, certification, verification, validation, and engineering test efforts throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 * Develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot infrastructure hardware solutions in a laboratory environment.
 * Evaluate systems, networks, and information systems to ensure compliance with applicable government security requirements and technical standards.
 * Generate engineering documentation supporting hardware integration, configuration management, testing, and system deployment.
 * Collaborate within an Agile engineering team to develop secure, scalable, and stable infrastructure solutions.
 * Participate in daily Agile stand-ups and technical reviews to resolve engineering challenges and support mission objectives.
 * Contribute to the development of common engineering frameworks and reusable infrastructure solutions across multiple systems and programs.
