Reporting to the Application Development Manager, this role partners closely with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions aligned with product roadmaps and LPL's long-term technology vision. This position is ideal for a hands-on cloud engineering leader who thrives in complex environments, values collaboration, and is passionate about building high-quality, resilient platforms that meet enterprise standards while enabling innovation. Responsibilities * Design and develop scalable, enterprise-class applications in cloud or hybrid-cloud environments * Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and support * Architect solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and cloud best practices * Build and support highly scalable core platform components used across applications and services * Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical debugging support * Evaluate new design proposals and recommend improvements that enhance scalability, performance, and reliability * Assist with conceptual designs and rough-order-of-magnitude (ROM) effort estimates * Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date technical documentation * Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Release Management, and Change Control to ensure smooth delivery What Are We Looking For?
