Technical Skills and Knowledge: * Advanced Understanding of current technical architecture including but not limited to server, network, application firewall, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. * 10 Years Relevant IT Experience, * Expert in one or more technologies * Advanced Understanding of current technical architecture including but not limited to server, network, application firewall * Must be proficient in all aspects of security management. ## Description The Senior Security Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting enterprise security solutions across infrastructure, identity, network, and endpoint domains. This individual brings a strong background in systems and network engineering (e.g., Active Directory, servers, email, and networking) and applies that expertise to secure and improve enterprise platforms in alignment with established security architecture and standards. Working with minimal supervision, this role independently troubleshoots complex performance and security issues across workstations and servers, identifies root causes, and delivers practical, scalable solutions. Key areas of focus include identity and access management, endpoint and server security, VPN, WAF, web proxy, and data protection technologies such as DLP., The Senior Security Engineer is highly proficient in scripting and automation, using these skills to streamline operations, improve reliability, and enhance security controls. This role also serves as a senior technical contributor-mentoring engineers, leading implementation efforts, supporting solution design within assigned platforms, and driving operational ownership, consistency, and continuous improvement across security services., Performs the most complex operations of the security functions as they relate to policy administration/enforcement, project management, physical security, mainframe provisioning, and audit liaison. Escalates issues to management for resolution., * Works with all areas of the company to review projects relating to Development, Servers and Network resources to determine and document risk associated to policy enforcement and administration. * Manages projects specific to security, including aligning internal and external resources to complete projects critical to Security Administration. * Interacts with users requests through the corporate provisioning system to ensure appropriate accesses are granted to system and audit controls are in place; performs routine physical security planning/review including card key access; interacts with audits and auditors to support and maintains corporate certification initiatives. * Performs other duties as assigned., Leads the day to day operation of the security functions as they relate to policy administration/enforcement, project management, physical security, mainframe provisioning, and audit liaison. Works under minimal supervision and resolves complex issues that require escalation., * Works with various teams and individuals to design streamlined data work flows in regard to access provisioning and user record updates. * Implement and improves data workflow and scripting. * Coordinates documentation to support application provisioning and understanding of user record flows to support applications. * Assesses issues brought forward and recommends procedural and policy changes to address issues and reduce corporate risk associated with access and physical controls. * Manages projects specific to security, including aligning internal and external resources to complete projects critical to Security Administration. * Interacts with users requests through the corporate provisioning system to ensure appropriate accesses are granted to system and audit controls are in place; performs routine physical security planning/review including card key access; interacts with audits and auditors to support and maintains corporate certification initiatives. * Performs other duties as assigned. ## Related Videos - [JavaScript?
