This position will be onsite at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD., * Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required. * Experience with advance development of technology roadmaps. (Desired) * Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills * Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality * Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Ability to work independently * Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines * Detail oriented * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues * Ability to adapt to evolving technology Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university. * Five (5) years of recent and relevant experience. ## Description The Systems Engineer, Journeyman will support the Heavy Lift Helicopters Program Office (PMA-261) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. This position provides critical systems engineering support for the CH-53K Capabilities Integration Team. Responsibilities include technical research and development of emerging technologies, system analysis, and documentation for new capabilities integration into Block upgrades to the CH-53K aircraft.
