Understanding and experience with computer services-related areas including computer system trends and direction, general accounting, and agri-business. Understanding of GROWMARK customized Agvance application and its interfaces with assigned applications and understanding of software and hardware design and integration. Ability to provide technical support, resource management, and training to new and existing users. Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others. Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and project management skills and the ability to read and interpret technical material. Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proven computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes. Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as necessary. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Employment is contingent on, among other things, receipt of an acceptable and job-related background check, drug test, motor vehicle report, and/or reference check, as applicable and permissible by law. ## Description Assists with point of sale applications and hardware support including, but not limited to, Agvance modules and other software systems to provide maximum benefit to users and assists in the sales, marketing, and training of applications to new users., Provides training and assistance to other IT Portfolio Staff, the IMS Support group, end users, and select GROWMARK employees to ensure users receive support that exceeds their expectations. Assistst with the development, testing, implementation, training, and ongoing support of IMS supported point of sale applications and hardware, ensuring their accurate interface with Agvance and other support software applications. Assists through research with point of sale systems to ensure they are enhanced to provide industry best practices and are user friendly. Coordinates with others in IT Portfolio to ensure alignment and coordination of all technology and software systems both within GROWMARK and at the retail level. Creates, maintains, and distributes documentation and manuals to users on assigned software application and hardware. Assists with the distribution and installation of the current version of all assigned applications and ensures that users are provided with the current version of applications. Asssits with the installation and support of Agronomy hardware and software systems at member cooperatives with users and GROWMARK product and support divisions. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Assists in the evaluation of new software, associated hardware and services to be offered to end users. Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
