The position requires a solid understanding of GPS hardware, including GNSS Receivers, Base Stations, and Rovers, as well as proficiency in GIS software such as QGIS and ArcGIS. This specialized role involves more fieldwork than typical GIS positions, with responsibilities including working with vector and raster data, data processing, and supporting field technicians in data collection., * Collect, process, and input data extracted from heavy equipment on job sites, such as excavators. * Track and report site coordinates, movements, and specifications. * Generate daily metrics and quantity reports. * Work with vector and raster data for data processing. * Support field technicians with data collection processes., Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, for all positions located in the city and county of San Francisco, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
