The candidate will have the opportunity to work with other developers and engineers in an effort to support the ongoing projects and future projects that the group has planned. This group develops cross platform (Windows and Linux) and leverages a unique non-relational database to support in-house development and Navy end users. Candidate must be able to balance multiple tasking and pull requests while maintaining effective communication between project lead and other group members. The group has multiple projects where some are deployed regularly to Navy end users or customers where as the projects are still being put together or utilized for developing better analytics, user experience, and new features. This position requires being on site majority of the week with some flexibility of remote working with approval. The candidate must have at least a Secret level clearance and must either have a CompTIA Sec+ certificate or will be able to achieve their CompTIA Sec+ Cert before starting. Complete pull requests (PRs) that are either assigned or available to be signed up for - Work as a team in order to accomplish complex tasking - Be willing to learn new concepts and software lifecycle tools - Work with software testers to ensure submitted code works as intended - Communicate and provide current status during any meetings from tech lead or project lead.
