## About the Role

Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

 - In-depth understanding of systems engineering process and principles.

 - Proven track record of successfully applying system engineering principles to develop product solutions.

 - Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions.

 - Working knowledge of system engineering artifacts (e.g. specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, etc.).

Desired Skills:

 - Candidates should have experience with developing large, complex systems.

 - Software development experience developing applications.

 - Automated test and pipeline development experience desired.

 - Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.

 - Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scrips.

 - Strong problem solving skills.

 - Experience with performance modeling.

 - Experience with build management tools and pipelines.

 - Prior C2BMC experience.

 - Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and MBSE tools.

## Description

The C2BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a Software Systems Engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2BMC applications.

Common responsibilities of a software systems engineer on the RA ART team include:

 * Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.

 * Systems Engineering support for team that maintains, debugs and configures related software products.

 * Work from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications.

 * Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs.

 * Work with the SEIT organization to decompose system requirements to good software level requirements.

 * Work with the SEIT organization to drive system use cases, CONOPS, and sequences.

 * Work with the SEIT organization to develop / update system external interfaces.
