## About the Role

* Multiple years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing, with strong knowledge of panel bending and automated production.
 * Experience programming and operating industrial robots (FANUC preferred) is a plus.
 * Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems, bending machine programming, and general machine tool operation.
 * Understanding of manufacturing technologies and production software systems.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-facing experience required.
 * Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly; willingness to operate forklifts and overhead cranes., Minimum 2-year technical school degree with a solid math background or the suitable equivalent of education and work experience.

## Description

* Conduct best in class customer product and production flow demonstrations and attend trade shows to increase product sales with a focus on automated panel bending machines
 * Provide customer application & sales support utilizing TRUMPF digital solutions both virtually and on-site
 * Perform feasibility analyses, time studies, and produce sample parts for customer evaluation.
 * Continuously excel the technology knowledge by participating in training and testing functions of the machine
 * Support machine startups and provide hands-on production assistance post-installation.
 * Be responsible for the assigned technology in the production showroom environment
 * Organize and provide customer product training courses with a focus on programming and operating equipment
 * Consult and demonstrate latest machine technology related solutions for Industry 4.0. Utilization of all hardware / software / services that pertain to the technology to become a resident expert / go to person for the technology
 * Collaborate with product centers and other TRUMPF subsidiaries to provide feedback on product development / improvement ideas for existing or new products in the field of bending technology
 * Assist with new machine introductions through testing and early customer support.
 * Travel estimate is 30% as average, with focus in USA, Mexico and Canada
