Experience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in administrative staff or professional work for the required experience. 3. SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS * One year of experience with SQL, Athena AWS, QLIK or Quicksight. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * One year experience using Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker, or Zoho Analytics, to develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations. * One year experience preparing data reports and responding to critical data requests for executive leadership, legislative bodies, or other external government stakeholders. * One year experience analyzing complex datasets to identify trends or patterns. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland. ## Description The main purpose of the position is to collate, organize, analyze, and present/report the department's performance metrics and indicators for strategic management decisions to enhance and improve the department's performances and reporting in compliance with federal and state regulations, laws and policies governing the various programs administered by the department, such as Social Service, Family Investment, and Child Support programs., * Utilize Microsoft Power BI and other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker, Zoho Analytics) to develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations. Translate raw data into actionable information for strategic policy decisions, evaluations, and improvements. * Analyze complex datasets from various sources using statistical tools.
