## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience
 * 5+ years of progressive experience in business operations, finance and/or strategy roles with increasing scope and accountability
 * 5+ years of experience in program and/or portfolio management, including complex, cross functional initiatives with large financial responsibility ($5M+)
 * 3+ years of experience in product and/or technology management & delivery that includes accountability for prioritization, quality and operational performance
 * 3+ years of experience directly supporting Medicaid and/or Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) programs, with demonstrated knowledge of areas such as LTSS, HCBS waivers, state-specific care management mandates, and CMS interoperability/care coordination requirements
 * Demonstrated experience in vendor governance and management that included accountability for relationship management, contract/financial management, roadmap influence, escalation management and driving strategic initiatives
 * Demonstrated experience operating in a highly regulated environment with direct accountability for delivering against compliance, audit, or regulatory commitments
 * Proven strength in people/team management - hiring, performance management, succession planning, and building delivery discipline
 * Proven strength in cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, and driving shared priorities to measurable outcomes, * SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Pragmatic Institute certification
 * Hands-on proficiency with Aha!, Jira, and Rally (or equivalent) for roadmap, backlog, and release management across a vendor + internal hybrid delivery model
 * Direct experience delivering on a core care management, utilization management, or population health platform (e.g., HealthEdge GuidingCare/CommunityCare, TriZetto/CareAdvance, ZeOmega Jiva, Salesforce Health Cloud, Epic Tapestry)
 * Vendor financial and contract governance experience, including Service Order / Change Order review, invoice reconciliation, scope control, and managing annual vendor spend
 * Experience leading multi-market or multi-state platform rollouts (10+ markets) with State-specific configuration, regulatory variation, and phased deployment governance
 * Experience embedding AI-assisted ways of working into product delivery (e.g., AI-generated user stories, automated test/acceptance, vendor performance analytics, release risk prediction)
 * Experience partnering with clinical operations, compliance, and finance to translate operational and regulatory requirements into platform features and release commitments

## Description

* Platform Strategy & Management
 + Spearhead and drive long-term strategic efforts, in partnership with cross-functional teams, in the CommunityCare platform, including capability investments, data interoperability and enterprise integration efforts
 + Leverage insights, AI and data to identify and spearhead initiatives that increase efficiency, drive scale and reduce operational friction across markets
 * Operations Performance & Adherence
 + Oversee end-to-end delivery for the CommunityCare platform and drive team accountability in delivering business outcomes, including areas such as backlog prioritization, roadmap alignment, release readiness, quality, and delivery execution that support care managers, care management operations, and member needs
 * Vendor Oversight & Performance Management
 + Serve as senior leader in relationship management with HealthEdge (vendor that services CommunityCare), including representing UnitedHealthcare on the HealthEdge Customer Advisory Board, as well as drive vendor performance/service level objectives, roadmap direction, and investment priorities to meet business needs
 + Oversee service & change order governance, invoice reconciliation, cost management, and scope controls to ensure alignment to business value & commitments.
 * Team Oversight & Development
 + Oversee and develop team of platform delivery managers & owners, providing clarity in strategic priorities, accountabilities & culture norm expectations while identifying areas for development and collaboration
 + Enable team members to effectively partner across care management operations, business, technology, compliance, and vendor teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and enable coordinated, compliant delivery across a multi-market landscape

Those residing within RTO locations will be required to work a minimum of four days per week in-office.
