We strive to hire exceptional, motivated, and passionate individuals that help us achieve our vision of acting as educational leaders who contribute to a better Chester County and beyond., * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or 4 years equivalent field experience), combined with 4+ years of relevant Infrastructure experience. * Competent with Windows and MacOS computing environments. * Competent with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, server hardware, tape backup systems, SAN, NAS, PBX/VoIP, surveillance systems, door access controls, and all other related technologies. * Current child abuse, criminal history and FBI clearances (required - prior to hire). ## Description The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the installation and maintenance of CCIU's local area networks, wide area network, building security systems, cybersecurity systems, WiFi, and 60+ physical and virtual servers at CCIU's 8 primary locations and numerous smaller satellite locations. IT Infrastructure troubleshoots and maintains the CCIU building security video and door access systems, as well as safeguarding the organization's data network via security best practices and data recovery backup systems. This position requires occasional night and/or weekend work and extended work hours. This position is an integral part of the IT team providing advanced Tier 2 tech support services for the entire organization, including all remote locations throughout Chester County. The IT Infrastructure Engineer makes recommendations to senior Infrastructure staff regarding the maintenance and repair of network related systems, with input or direction from the Director of Infrastructure. The Infrastructure Engineer also mentors and oversees the Infrastructure Administrators.
