The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential., Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols - Experience in major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF - Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment, Knowledge of IT best practice frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and operational excellence concepts or methodologies - Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures - Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming - Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem and work towards resolution - Bachelor's degree ## Description Amazon is looking for best-in-class Network Engineers to help deploy and automate one of the world's largest and complex networks. As a Network Engineer working within Amazon Infrastructure you will: - Be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that supports the Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments and multiple Amazon services. - Deploy, scale and automate our network across multiple global datacenters.
