Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing IT General controls consulting, controls walkthrough, and test of operating effectiveness of controls to support ongoing SOX consulting and audit engagements for a diverse client base consisting of technology, manufacturing, and financial services companies. The IT SOX Consultant can be based out of any of the following U.S. office locations (New York, NY; Princeton, NJ; Whippany, NJ; East Brunswick NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Buffalo, NY). How You'll Spend Your Time: * Process walkthroughs, testing, and documentation of various IT General Controls including Access, Change Management, Computer Operations, etc. * Obtaining, analyzing and appraising evidentiary data * Drawing informed objective opinions as to the adequacy and effectiveness of IT controls * Preparing work papers summarizing evidentiary data obtained and conclusions reached * Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement * Facilitate use of technology-based tools and methodologies to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls and implement services * Adapt to the ever-changing compliance landscape and keep abreast with the latest IT threats, mitigation Techniques, etc. ## Related Videos - [Hacking MSSQL on Cloud.
