## About the Role

Required:

 * Active TS/SCI w/ poly.
 * Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
 * Minimum 10 years of related experience.
 * Extensive experience with Linux operating systems in development/test and production environments.
 * Prior experience in a corporate or customer-facing role.
 * Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
 * Strong analytical and investigative skills to understand and resolve complex problems.
 * Experience managing large projects or processes that span multiple departments.

Desired:

 * Recognized subject matter expert in systems administration.
 * Proven experience managing projects with minimal oversight.
 * Working knowledge of Puppet, Satellite, IPA, Nagios, and Net App.
 * Ability to influence policies, practices, and procedures.
 * Strong problem-solving skills for complex and undefined issues.
 * Innovative mindset with a track record of making significant improvements to systems or products.
 * Creativity and ingenuity in developing new technical solutions.
 * Ability to regularly employ innovative techniques to enhance system performance.

## Description

* Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues (servers, network, security, etc.) using advanced systems analysis techniques.
 * Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure, including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity.
 * Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and ensure robust security measures are in place.
 * Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to maintain the security and integrity of the technical environment.
 * Support new infrastructure projects and initiatives.
 * Maintain comprehensive configuration documentation for all assigned infrastructure.
 * Collaborate closely with architects, technical leads, software developers, testers, security teams, and stakeholders.
 * Be available for off-hours work as needed for support and deployments.
