Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

 * 6 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services.
 * Experience planning/leading network deployments and creating deployment packages and Methods of Procedures (MOP).
 * Experience planning and coordinating with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications working environment., * Experience with network infrastructure, rack and stack, device commissioning, and quality acceptance control.
 * Experience in collaboration across multiple levels and functions, and passionate to engage and influence tactical and strategic decision-making.
 * Scripting and software development skills (e.g., Python or Go).
 * Ability to travel up to 25% of the time may be needed during project peak time.

## Description

* Support and participate with Design, Deployment, and Planning teams as needed to deliver end-to-end connectivity for assigned metro sites.
 * Execute and troubleshoot capacity workflows for edge network devices in new and existing network nodes across Google's global network.
 * Work with Core, Transport, and Edge teams to translate common network solutions into standard Bill Of Materials (BOMs) and detailed design packages for third parties to execute with minimal oversight.
 * Manage the creation and maintenance of network documentation and implementation plans (DPKs), ensuring technical accuracy during deployment activities.
 * Apply scripting and software development skills (e.g., Python) to automate workflows, perform data analysis, and drive process optimizations within your assigned scope.
