## About the Role

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

 * 5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy, or support role.
 * Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
 * Ability to use TSO and ISPF.
 * JCL skills.
 * Ability to write REXX and working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB).
 * Experience in z/OS Automation Migration Projects.

Product Experience

Candidates should have implementation and operational experience with:

 * NetView for z/OS
 * System Automation for z/OS

Candidates should also have the willingness to expand skills across related automation products.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

 * Knowledge of other IBM Z software, including:
 + System operation
 + Configuration and automation
 + z/OS startup and shutdown processes
 + SMP/E
 * Knowledge of products that compete with the IBM products listed above.
 * Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z.
