Experience: A minimum of three years of experience with electrical avionics system design is required. This includes subsystem design, interface cable design, hardware/software integration, and coordination with vendors for part selection. Technical Skills: Candidates must have experience or knowledge of VPX/VME form factor and communication standards such as RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP, Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553. Technical system domain knowledge and experience with product/systems development and integration are also required. Preferred Qualifications * Experience or knowledge of cyber security principles. * Experience or knowledge of network design. * Familiarity with common military standards used in hardware design and testing (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1472). * Experience with CAD and creating electrical schematics. * Experience with the implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules, and metrics (i.e., DOORs, CAMEO, earned value management). * Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). * CompTIA Security+ Certification. Work Environment This position requires the selected candidate to work 100% on-site. Regular and predictable attendance is a mandatory component of the role.
