Stantec is seeking Archaeological Field Technicians to assist with upcoming fieldwork that will occur primarily in Maine and New York. The successful applicant will be responsible for executing field related tasks under the supervision of an archaeological field supervisor. This position requires extensive travel with frequent overnight stays., The position will primarily consist of fieldwork but may include exposure to a wider range of other duties including laboratory research and analysis. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: perform archaeological fieldwork tasks including controlled surface survey; shovel test survey; and excavation.
