## About the Role

* Strong experience with C#, .NET, and .NET Core / .NET 6+
 * Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services
 * Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC, or related .NET frameworks
 * Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and serverless application development
 * Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Storage, Key Vault, and Application Insights
 * Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, stored procedures, queries, and database design
 * Experience building integrations between internal systems, external APIs, and cloud-based platforms
 * Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, or distributed systems
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
 * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
 * Experience with Git or similar source control tools
 * Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimizing application performance
 * Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
 * Ability to mentor developers and contribute to technical design discussions

AI / Emerging Technology Experience

 * Experience building or integrating AI-enabled features into business applications
 * Exposure to Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot integrations, or similar AI platforms
 * Understanding of prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, or generative AI use cases
 * Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector search, embeddings, or Semantic Kernel is a plus
 * Ability to evaluate where AI can improve automation, user experience, business processes, or application functionality
