This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}. ## Description The Outsourced Suspension SW DRE (Software Design Release Engineer) position will be responsible for supporting sourcing, validating, supporting root cause activity for SW related issues and releasing steering software for production. This role now encompasses roles previously led by a CSIE (Controller Software Integration Engineer) and CVE (Component Validation Engineer) and will be part of a SAFe Deployment Scrum Team. The Outsourced Suspension SW DRE will be steward of the part as it impacts the customer and will be the single point contact between GM and the supplier. You will be responsible for creating, communicating, and leading various types of product plans and ensuring the on-time delivery of a Suspension Control Module. There will be focus on ensuring integrated ART solution is thoroughly validated end-to-end (from supplier, through vehicle, and to the end customer). Additionally, you will be responsible for managing software related PRTS and ensure solutions are implemented in a timely manner. Lastly, the Outsourced Suspension SW DRE will be responsible for troubleshooting software related issues.
