## About the Role

The Hardware Support Technician will provide technical support for an extremely diverse biomedical research institute consisting of over 4,000 users in a Windows/Macintosh/Linux environment. This is a challenging job with state-of-the-art equipment. We are looking for people with the desire to experience a diverse fast paced environment. The candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to work with demanding users., * 6 months to 2 years exp. with Windows

 * 6 months to 2 years exp. with Macintosh operating systems
 * 6 months to 2 years exp. with Network and re-imaging workstations
 * 6 months to 2 years exp. supporting a small/medium size fast paced environment.
 * CompTIA A+, and CompTIA N+ a plus

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

 * Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
 * Must be able to walk for long distances.
 * Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
