## About the Role

Do you have experience in System administration?, * Proven experience in HPC system administration or engineering within scientific, automotive, aerospace, or similar high-performance environments.

 * Strong knowledge of Linux systems, cluster management, job schedulers (e.g., Slurm, PBS, LSF), and parallel computing.
 * Experience with profiling, optimisation, and troubleshooting MPI/OpenMP-based applications.
 * Familiarity with HPC networking, storage, security, and performance tuning.
 * Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Desirable

 * Experience using or supporting large-scale HPC environments.
 * Knowledge of CFD workflows, meshing strategies, and solver tuning.
 * Cloud-based HPC experience.
 * Exposure to containerisation (Singularity/Apptainer, Docker) or orchestration technologies.
 * Experience optimising workloads on GPU-accelerated systems.

## Description

* Develop, maintain, and optimise the team's High-Performance Computing infrastructure to support CFD, simulation, and analytics workloads.
 * Collaborate closely with Aerodynamics, CFD, and Software Engineering departments to ensure seamless workflow execution.
 * Benchmark, tune, and troubleshoot performance issues across clusters, schedulers, interconnects, storage, and compute nodes.
 * Support the deployment and scaling of engineering applications, including CFD solvers and data-processing tool chains.
 * Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation to enhance reliability and efficiency.
 * Contribute to long-term HPC roadmap planning, including hardware refresh cycles and architectural improvements.
