## About the Role

* 0-3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, help desk, telecom, low-voltage cabling, or a related field.
 * Experience with Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling.
 * Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
 * Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
 * Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work effectively under supervision and follow established procedures.

Required Certifications

 * CompTIA A+
 * CompTIA Network+

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following environments:

 * Low-voltage cabling
 * Telecommunications
 * Data centers
 * Construction

Physical Requirements

 * Ability to safely lift and move up to 35 pounds repeatedly.
 * Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
 * Ability to push, pull, and maneuver server racks, carts, and equipment safely as part of a team.
 * Comfortable working in varying temperatures and wearing required PPE.
 * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet operational deadlines.

Education

 * Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field preferred.
 * Equivalent experience, training, and certifications will be considered.

## Description

We are seeking a motivated Cable Technician / Data Center Support Technician to join our team in Fairless Hills, PA. This position provides technical support to end users while assisting with data center operations, network infrastructure, and low-voltage cabling projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cat 5/Cat 6 cabling, basic networking knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-service mindset., * Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and in-person requests.

 * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
 * Document, track, and monitor support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
 * Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling.
 * Support network infrastructure, workstation deployments, and equipment installations.
 * Assist with server rack installations, cable management, and data center operations.
 * Follow work instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
 * Maintain accurate records in ticketing, inventory, and asset management systems.
 * Escalate issues as needed to ensure efficient resolution.
 * Adhere to all safety standards and company policies.
