## Description

* The Network Engineer will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a complex infrastructure.
 * This position will provide an exciting mix of implementing new technologies in addition to maintaining the existing infrastructure.
 * The ideal candidate has a passion for creative design and out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to solving challenges.
 * They can work collaboratively across multiple teams (technical and non-technical) to find the right solution or be willing to expand their understanding to get to the right solution.
 * Someone who has run projects where they are given specific requirements and then they design based on those requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 * Interpret business objectives and translate into technical requirements for network design and implementation.
 * Install, configure, deploy, and validate, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security designs.
 * Maintain and operate firewall policies and NAC policies to ensure best practices and proper network segmentation.
 * Develop and maintain processes and procedures to drive efficiency for internal business teams.
 * Develop and leverage network automation to drive efficiency and standardization.
 * Assist Engineers with scope of work definition.
 * Create and maintain network documentation.
 * Configure and maintain network monitoring tools.
 * Performs other duties as assigned.
