What You'll Do: * Advises as an expert resource, provides technical guidance to others. * Provides input in marketing strategies, including capabilities within the team, processes and methodologies used, etc. * Provides project coordination along with PM on projects with GIS needs, including assigning workloads, estimating hours, defining milestones and quality assurance. * Creates final media projects including CD-ROMs, hardcopy maps, and documentation. * Develops key relationships with industry sector leaders within the company. * Investigates and learns new technologies, especially in the GIS industry. * Recruits, hires, develops and retains staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.
