## About the Role

* Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand
 * 3+ years of professional experience for this role.
 * You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required., * Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand

 * Experience working on project teams and development efforts

 * Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)

 * Issue Tracking and troubleshooting experience
Desired Skills:
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education

 * Experience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design
 * Experience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and software configuration management
 * Experience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP)
 * Experience working with RF
 * Experience with multiple OS platforms such as Linux and Windows
 * Systems thinking mindset
 * Experience with Agile and DevOps processes and culture
 * Experience with Jira or other Atlassian tool sets
 * Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
 * Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration., Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

## Description

The new Software Engineer will support the LE2 Program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong software engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

 * Support the EGSE Organization as a software engineer.
 * You will support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability
 * You will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology.
 * Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to support needs.
