Team members will also process large volumes of customer media to ensure that all customer media is sanitized and properly managed. Accountability of equipment throughout the process is important for maintaining the team's high standard. Technicians will be working in a team environment not only with other members of the team, but also from other teams and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality. Amazon Data Centers protect customer data with utmost vigilance, and selected candidates must be able to perform repetitive tasks without fault and adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that ensures customer data is protected and properly handled. Our technicians have industry-leading technical abilities and demonstrate a breadth of knowledge while they: *Take ownership of technical issues brought by their customer base, engaging other teams when needed to drive resolution *Show a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving *Solve problems at their root and step back to understand the broader context *Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in cramped and/or elevated location *Maintain service level agreements through the implementation of proactive issue detection and reporting *Are biased to act in the absence of direction or support *Improve effectiveness through process innovation This position will primarily be based out of Culpeper, VA but the candidate selected must be able travel to Warrenton and Alexandria, VA as needed.
