The Language Experience team in Builder Tools is the center of excellence for Amazon's use of programming languages, highly-leveraged shared software, and application build tools. Our tools are used in all aspects of the business, and their care and evolution are of critical importance to the effectiveness of Amazon. We're looking for a deeply technical leader interested in sustaining and evolving the shared software platform used by nearly every service within the company. Those with experience evolving broadly distributed and highly complex software libraries, such as large open source projects and mission critical foundational software stacks will be given an opportunity to have company wide impact., You will design and build developer tools that Amazon engineers use every day. You will work with the languages and libraries that power Amazon's services, making them easier to use and more reliable. You will help maintain our build tools, compilers and package managers. You will work on our 3PSW repository mirrors. You will collaborate with engineers across Amazon to understand their pain points and build tools that address them.
