Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Geospatial Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience with modern geospatial technologies and formats, including GeoParquet, DuckDB spatial, vector tiles, FlatGeobuf, GeoPackage, or Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF. * Experience working throughout the full software development lifecycle. * Knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud platforms. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools. * Knowledge of geospatial, geodesic, photogrammetric, or remote sensing technologies. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented with a willingness to work closely with technical systems and processes. ## Description Vantor is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Basemaps team.
