In this pivotal role, you own the end-to-end architecture for a set of business capabilities and help move Infoblox from emerging architecture practices to a unified, capability-centric operating model with strong governance, clear traceability, and measurable business outcomes. Collaborating closely with business, product, data, security, and engineering teams, you shape target-state architectures, guide complex solution designs across AI, integration, data, and infrastructure domains, and champion modern, reusable patterns that accelerate delivery while managing risk. Be a Contributor - What You'll Do * Lead capability-centric architecture strategy for assigned domains, connecting business strategy to clear technology roadmaps * Build and maintain end-to-end capability maps and architecture landscapes that link value streams, processes, data, applications, and infrastructure * Develop contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical architecture views that cover key functional and non-functional requirements * Translate business and product strategies into solution architectures spanning AI, integration, data, and infrastructure, aligned to enterprise standards and target state * Define and evolve architecture standards, reference models, and reusable patterns, including API-led, event-driven, data/analytics, and AI-assisted workflows * Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to embed AI thoughtfully into business processes (decision support, analytics, automation, content generation) with responsible use and strong data protection * Guide solution teams on selecting and integrating AI and analytics tools (enterprise AI assistants, ML platforms, observability solutions) to improve productivity and insight * Lead and participate in architecture governance forums, driving design reviews, key decisions, and transparent exception handling * Identify and drive opportunities for reuse, simplification, modularity, zero-touch automation, and self-service across platforms and capabilities * Develop and maintain multi-year capability and platform roadmaps that align dependencies, funding, and sequencing with business priorities, First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals. Six Months: * Own and publish current-state capability and architecture views for your core domains, including key systems, integrations, and data flows * Establish and socialize a target-state vision and prioritized roadmap for at least one major capability area, including early, low-risk AI and automation use cases * Stand up or refine architecture governance routines (design reviews, decision records, standards updates) for your domain with clear engagement models * Influence the design of 2-3 major initiatives to align with target architecture, security/compliance expectations, and non-functional standards * Introduce or refine AI-powered tools for architecture documentation, options analysis, and impact assessments, demonstrating tangible productivity gains One Year: * Drive a measurable shift toward a unified, capability-centric architecture within your domains, with increased reuse, reduced complexity, and stronger traceability from strategy to solutions * Demonstrate realized business outcomes from your roadmap (e.g., simplified integrations, better data consistency, faster delivery, or cost efficiencies) with clear metrics * Mature the enterprise architecture standards and patterns library, including AI, integration, data, and infrastructure patterns adopted by delivery teams * Embed AI and analytics into at least one end-to-end value stream to improve decision quality, automation, or user experience under responsible AI guidelines * Become a trusted strategic advisor to senior business and technology leaders on major investments, technology choices, and operating-model changes Belong - Your Community Our culture thrives on inclusion, rewarding the bold ideas, curiosity, and creativity that move us forward. In a community where every voice counts, continuous learning is the norm. So, whether you code, create, sell, or care for customers, you'll grow and belong here. ## Related Videos - [Next Level Enterprise Architecture: Modular, Flexible, Scalable, Multichannel and AI-Ready?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1017-next-level-enterprise-architecture-modular-flexible-scalable-multichannel-and-ai-ready) - [API Design - Getting Started](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/33-api-design-getting-started) - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [Blueprints for Success: Steering a Global Data & AI Architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1577-blueprints-for-success-steering-a-global-data-ai-architecture) - [Rest API Antipatterns](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100208-rest-api-antipatterns) - [DevOps Maturity Check – a way to balance autonomy and alignment](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/58-devops-maturity-check-a-way-to-balance-autonomy-and-alignment) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Top-Paying Tech Jobs (with Salaries)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/372-top-paying-tech-jobs-with-salaries) - [Best US AI Conferences for CTOs in 2026: Build vs. Buy, Vendor Evaluation, and Peer Intelligence](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/736-best-us-ai-conferences-for-ctos-in-2026-build-vs-buy-vendor-evaluation-and-peer-intelligence) - [The 12 Best Jobs for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/401-the-12-best-jobs-for-software-engineers) - [Graph and AI Trends 2026: Why Is AI Running but Not Yet Delivering?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/680-graph-and-ai-trends-2026-why-is-ai-running-but-not-yet-delivering)
