## About the Role

* Proven experience working within Aerospace Engines & Power Systems environments
 * Deep expertise in propulsion engine control systems
 * Strong background in requirements-based systems engineering for controls, + Requirements analysis, decomposition, and validation
 + Verification and change management
 * Define and refine engine control system and component-level requirements, * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM discipline
 * 10+ years of professional engineering experience
 * Strong background in propulsion control systems and requirements engineering
 * Experience working within aerospace or engine systems environments
 * Ability to lead complex technical efforts and influence stakeholders, * Experience with gas turbine engines or internal combustion engine controls
 * Familiarity with:
 + ARP4754A (Systems Development)
 + DO-178C (Software Certification)
 * Knowledge of control systems and supporting hardware components
 * Experience in program/project engineering and customer interfacing
 * Proven ability to work in cross-functional, global teams

In this role, you'll drive the development, integration, and performance of advanced engine control systems across a portfolio of gas turbine engines., * Serve as a technical focal point for internal stakeholders and leadership

 * Mentor and support junior engineers
 * Drive strategic reuse of system requirements and features across programs
 * Influence improvements in development cost, efficiency, and timelines

Collaboration & Program Execution

 * Coordinate with:
 + Chief engineers and technical experts
 + Program management teams
 + Internal and external customers
 * Provide supplier technical oversight and project coordination
 * Support Agile development processes and program planning
 * Assist with field issue troubleshooting and system support, * Play a key role in shaping next-generation propulsion control systems
 * Work on mission-critical aerospace technologies
 * Serve as a technical leader and mentor in a high-visibility role
 * Collaborate with top engineers, industry experts, and global teams
