## About the Role

* 10+ years of experience in software engineering or a closely related technical field
 * Bachelor's degree in STEM or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
 * Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, and Spring Security
 * Proficiency in at least two general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Angular, or JSF
 * Experience working with software development lifecycle practices, CI/CD, DevOps, and data modeling
 * Ability to analyze requirements and deliver practical, well-structured technical solutions
 * Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and self-management skills
 * Comfort working in a role that includes on-call support and production troubleshooting

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Angular, NgRx, and RxJS
 * Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
 * Exposure to WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, or MQ
 * Background working with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
 * Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab
 * Experience coaching others and serving as a trusted technical resource

## Description

* Design, build, configure, and improve software solutions that support applications, databases, automation tools, and DevOps practices
 * Develop and maintain technical solutions using strong programming and engineering best practices
 * Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions
 * Participate in peer reviews and apply consistent software development standards
 * Support applications and environments through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and service request handling
 * Contribute ideas, share knowledge, and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members
 * Help ensure secure front-end application practices, including appropriate use of tokens, headers, and policy controls
 * Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts across the software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes
