Skilled in implementing storage-level security, focusing on encryption-at-rest/motion, granular access controls, and operational efficiency, Candidates must have: * 5 to 7 years of VMware vSphere with vSAN operations experience. * 3 to 5 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience. * 2 to 3 years of hands-on enterprise storage management experience. Candidates with experience in these specific technologies will receive special consideration: * Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat Satellite. * AWS EC2 Administration. * Recent, hands-on experience with NetApp FAS/AFF hardware arrays, Infrastructure Insights and Storage Workload Security (formerly Cloud Insights and Cloud Secure), and Superna DefendX. * Red Hat Openshift Container Platform on premises or in AWS. ## Description Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Individual Contributor, this role provides high-level technical expertise across the entire operational lifecycle of the enterprise VMware and Linux ecosystems. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and resilience of these environments through proactive monitoring, complex troubleshooting, and change planning.
