What would be nice for you to have: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline. * Experience creating solutions with Symitar PowerOn, PowerFrame Docs, and/or PL/I. * Ability to interpret and work across multiple programming languages. * Experience developing and supporting solutions within the Symitar Integrated Solutions framework. * Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Solid understanding of banking and credit union operations and technology. * Experience with Chromium-based development and service-oriented architecture. * Ability to gather, analyze, and document system and functional requirements, with working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Why Jack Henry? ## Description The Symitar Client Services Engineering team is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to troubleshoot and program both template-based and custom credit union code. You will maintain and update existing code, write new code for enhancements and fixes, and provide support to credit union clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential. This is a remote position; however, candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of one of the following office locations: Allen, TX; Cedar Falls, IA; Louisville, KY; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO; or Lenexa, KS. This position is ineligible for immigration sponsorship and support. The salary range for this position is $66,500-$80,000 and will be determined based on location and level of experience. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity. What you'll be responsible for: * Provide technical support to customers by analyzing reported issues and determining the best path to resolution. * Work directly with customers and users on highly technical products, including systems-level software used by technical audiences. * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues effectively. * Report design concerns, reliability issues, and software bugs to engineering.
