Our signature programs and partner agencies intently focus on connecting youth and their families to resources at the beginning of their life journey to ensure access to fundamental needs of food, shelter and learning resources for all. #strongertogether The Pikes Peak Continuum of Care (PPCoC) is a regional planning body that coordinates housing and services for people experiencing homelessness, with the goal of promoting a community-wide commitment to preventing and ending homelessness. Beginning in July 2026, Pikes Peak United Way (PPUW) will assume the lead role in the PPCoC in partnership with the City of Colorado Springs, strengthening system coordination, strategic alignment, and community impact., * Lead the HMIS team, managing and guiding day-to-day operations and assisting with prioritizing critical needs and requests. * Lead the development, description, analysis, and validation of datasets; ensure the accuracy and correction of data, models, and reports; oversee the implementation, upgrading, and development of data management and visualization tools; and create models to explain and forecast data. * Extract, transform, and analyze HMIS data to develop strategies and strategic initiatives to maximize the CoC and community impact toward ensuring an effective and efficient homeless response system. * Apply advanced descriptive statistical techniques to collect, analyze and interpret data, identifying trends and themes to create and implement action plans that drive the strategic work of the CoC. * Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze HMIS functions and key operations and performance metrics. * Collaborate, communicate, and partner with the CoC, local HMIS agencies, and community stakeholders to strategize, conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments, establish technical standards and policies to ensure the seamless flow of information and prioritize initiatives for sustainable change. * Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables. * Work with Communication team on the creation, publication, presentation, and transformation of data, providing compelling narrative interpretation of data visualizations and dashboards. * Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, stakeholder and organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements. * Implement strategies that ensure the security of personal information and safeguard sensitive data on behalf of the individuals' information stored in the HMIS system. * Work closely with other HMIS lead agencies and coordinate efforts to align strategy, policy, reporting, and capacity across the state. * Implement tools or software to automate the quality control process and best practice for data integration, ETL processes, and data pipelines. * Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data and systems professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership and accountability, and continuous improvement and learning. * Translate HMIS team strategy and vision into actionable and tactical work by setting clear expectations and defining deliverables. * Continuously provide feedback and coaching to the HMIS team to support their performance, growth, and development, and successful execution of strategy. * Cultivate and foster an engaged environment of accountability and success. * Identify and lead special projects and perform other duties as assigned, ensuring alignment with organizational and community goals and strategic priorities. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned., Business office environment; professional dress/attire expected. Physical demands of the position include the ability to talk and hear, prolonged sitting and/or standing, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and regular use of computer and telephone.
