Network Support * Assist with setup and maintenance of network infrastructure (switches, routers, patch panels). * Troubleshoot connectivity issues at the hardware level (LAN/WAN, cabling, ports). * Work with network teams to implement changes or upgrades. Systems Monitoring & Troubleshooting * Perform site inspections, Daily/Weekly walkthrough and equipment audits to ensure operational compliance and safety. * Monitor the health and performance of systems using monitoring tools. * Quickly respond to and resolve alarms, outages, and hardware failures. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and infrastructure issues in a timely manner. * Conduct root cause analysis and document resolutions. Power & Cooling Management * Monitor and support critical power infrastructure (UPS, PDUs, generators). * Maintain proper cooling standards by working with HVAC systems and airflow designs. * Ensure uptime through environmental monitoring and response (e.g., temperature, humidity). Security & Compliance * Enforce physical security policies, access controls, and visitor protocols. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal audit requirements. * Maintain documentation for access logs, equipment inventory, and changes. Documentation & Inventory * Maintain detailed records of hardware configurations, asset inventory, cabling diagrams, and incidents. * Keep documentation updated for standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Track spare parts and coordinate procurement with supply chain teams. Collaboration & Support * Provide hands-on support to remote engineering, operations, and vendor teams. * Assist in deployments, migrations, and data center expansion projects. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and RMAs (Return Material Authorizations). Upgrades & Optimization * Participate in capacity planning, hardware refreshes, and performance optimization. * Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or decommissions.
