Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 * A bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems (other bachelor's degree acceptable with demonstrated skills in areas required), or minimum 5 years comparable experience.
 * Experience with SNMP monitoring tools, Cisco security products (FTDs, ISE, Umbrella and Duo) and Cisco SDWAN.
 * Linux Certifications a plus.
 * CCNA Certification a plus.

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

 * While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Also, be able to professionally communicate, both written and verbally.
 * Adhere to Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
 * Valid US driver's license required.

## Description

* Deploys and maintains the management, installation, and support of the company's local area networks, wide area networks, VoIP phone system and network management tools.
 * Defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand.
 * Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes.
 * Keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices.
 * Up to 25% travel.
 * Train other I.T. personnel to help support all production equipment and networks.
