## About the Role

* Active Secret Clearance is required

 * 5+ years of hands-on Splunk engineering or architecture experience with a focus on backend infrastructure (not dashboarding or end-user analytics).

 * Strong expertise in Splunk Enterprise architecture, including deployment, configuration, and performance optimization.

## Description

* Design, build, and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including indexers, forwarders, and search heads in secure, high-availability environments.

 * Develop and optimize data onboarding pipelines, ensuring reliable ingestion and normalization of large-scale log and event data.

 * Manage Splunk architecture performance, including capacity planning, scaling strategies, and system tuning.

 * Implement secure configurations and maintain compliance with government and security standards.

 * Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to enhance monitoring, logging, and observability capabilities across systems.
