Physical and Environmental Conditions * Work to be performed out of Blue Ridge Summit, PA. * Must be able to sit for long periods of time in an office setting. ## Description We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Army G-6 SAP CIO efforts to operate and maintain a classified network infrastructure and application suite. You will play a key part in ATG's support for the Army SAP CIO managing security operations and providing technical support within a classified government environment. This hybrid role ensures personnel and facility security compliance while also supporting secure IT systems and end-user operations for the division., * Maintain a classified network infrastructure and application suite that enables secure compartmented communications mechanisms, including a web-centric collaboration environment, enterprise services (e.g., eMail, VOIP Phones, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC)) over a robust transport environment between disparate compartmented networks. * Provide technical (Tier 1 and 2) services for a DoD Directorate subsection. * Perform day-to-day operations of standalone network providing Cybersecurity and IT support for section personnel. * Coordinate with the GSSO, the commander, facility owner, or appropriate industry leader to create a secure environment to protect SAP information at the designated Special Access Programs Facility (SAPF). * Work with the GSSO to execute SAPF security management, to include SETA, and related operations within the SAPF. * Implement and execute all SAP security requirements per DODM 5205.07, as well as any additional guidance issued by the GSSO or CA SAPCO security director. * Coordinate SAP security matters, including personnel vetting issues and security incidents, with the GSSO and CA SAPCO, as applicable, as well as ensure records are updated in the SAP personnel vetting system, Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) or successor systems to ensure security professionals are aware of actions. * Conduct annual self-inspections on behalf of the GSSO, document the self-inspection and any necessary corrective action plan, and submit the corrective action plan to the CA SAPCO PSM or PSO. * Maintain SAPF/SAP operations and facility accreditations. * Process and manage Personnel Security (PERSEC) actions (indoctrinations, debriefs, DISS updates). * Coordinate visit access requests, read ins, and courier documentation. * Ensure compliance with program security policies and procedures. * Provide security briefings and maintain security education records. * Manage security incident reporting and participate in inspections. * Set up workstations with computers, VoIP phones, and necessary peripheral devices. * Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality. * Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications for all section personnel. * Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance. * Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. * Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment. * Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work. * Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.) within NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and other government networks. * Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule. * Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders. * Handle customer technical support cases through phone and email submission. * Manage IT service requests (Create, Assign, Resolve, and Report) through ticket management system. * Inventory IT equipment and maintain inventory records. * Prepare reference material for users by drafting operation instructions. * Repair or replace damaged hardware. * Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware. * Configure and manage networked printers. * Identify and escalate foreign contacts, insider threat indicators, and classified information spills. * Maintain visitor logs, issue badges, and enforce SAPF access procedures. * Control Classified Material. * Properly mark, store, and safeguard classified materials (up to Top Secret/SAP/SAR levels). ## Related Videos -
