Some experienced with writing scripts and worked on migration project like this. * Deep understanding of performance tuning (execution plans, indexing), and query optimization techniques. * Experience supporting mission-critical, high-volume SQL Server instances (including AlwaysOn, clustering, and replication). * Solid understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and data modeling techniques. * Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, SQL Agent, or scripting in CI/CD pipelines). * Proven ability to troubleshoot complex database issues under pressure. * Experience working in a Windows Server environment with knowledge of Active Directory integration. * Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and SDLC processes. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Nice to Have Skills * Experience in business intelligence role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology * Microsoft Certified Business Intelligence in the above required skills * Experience with Microsoft SSIS * Experience with relational databases: Sybase ASE, Oracle, MySQL and others a plus * Experience with analytic platforms (data mining, predictive modeling) a plus DAX, Power BI dashboards, SSRS reporting ## Description We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Oracle and SQL Server, and a strong emphasis on proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and tuning. This role will lead database operations, set standards, and drive continuous improvements to ensure reliability, scalability, and high performance of our data systems. Experience with Sybase ASE is a plus. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly analytical, and thrives in a proactive, data-driven environment where availability, performance, and efficiency are critical.
