## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
 * 12+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity (or 16 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree).
 * Proven experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.

 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Extensive experience working directly with mission-focused customers.
 * Familiarity with tools used to describe and document complex system interactions (e.g., Confluence/Gliffy, Visio).
 * Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand sophisticated dataflows and automation concepts.
 * Experience guiding system development through engineering management plans.
 * Experience defining system, functional, and component-level requirements.
 * Hands-on experience automating test cases using software tools and systems.
 * Experience working in an agile, continuous-delivery environment.
 * Exposure to operational scenario support and transitions to production environments.
 * Experience monitoring deployed systems, dataflows, and tool performance.

 * Diagnose and resolve complex, mission-critical dataflow issues.
 * Partner with Operations and Capabilities teams to develop end-to-end automation and testing solutions.
 * Build and maintain relationships with data consumers and repository stakeholders.
 * Work closely with analysts and data consumers to troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues
 * Create clear, concise, and comprehensive mission CONOPs.
 * Develop, execute, and document test plans.
 * Document tool development processes, updates, and testing results.
