Even Better: * Certifications or training directly related to the position. * Two-year technical degree in computers or electronics, or the equivalent in work experience. * Knowledge in the following areas: * DS1/DS3 installation, testing, and troubleshooting. * Analog Transport installation, testing, and troubleshooting. * SONET OC-3/12/48 installation, testing, and troubleshooting. * WDM/CWDM/DWDM installation, testing, and troubleshooting. * EWSD programming and troubleshooting. * EWSD Translations * Experience with the following vendors/ models of transport equipment: * Tellabs (AFC) DLC * Zhone AccessNode DLC * Calix C7 DLC/DSLAM * Lucent DSLAM, * Associate degree in a technical discipline and 2-3 years technical/telephony experience; or 4+ years of directly related telephony experience, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related telephony experience.
