## Description

Join CACI as a Sr. Systems Administrator (Active Directory) supporting the modernization and operations of the Distributed Ground System (DGS) at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA. In this role, you'll work in a highly technical, mission-driven environment where your expertise directly enhances system readiness and performance. This is an immediate opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career., * Maintain and operate a virtualized data center environment utilizing VMware and Dell/EMC server and storage technologies.

 * Install, support, and maintain servers-including performance tuning, system-wide configuration, and storage allocation.
 * Protect system integrity, confidentiality, and availability through robust patch management, antivirus oversight, and data backup/restoration.
 * Diagnose and resolve service outages, technical inquiries, and system-related issues.
 * Conduct system analysis and implement updates to keep technologies modern and effective.
 * Perform routine system health checks across processes, services, networks, and storage.
 * Update documentation, support configuration management, and resolve reported issues.
 * Partner with the security team on upgrades, compliance, and system security initiatives.
 * Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support personnel.
